Welcome to Model Horse Vault ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data when you use our app and website at model-horse-vault.com.

3. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Account information: Your name and email address when you register.
Collection data: Information you enter about your model horse collection, including names, photos, purchase prices, condition, and other details.
Photos: Photos you upload of your models.

Information Collected Automatically

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interactions within the app.
Device information: Browser type, operating system, and device type.
Log data: IP address, timestamps, and error logs.
Analytics data: Pages viewed, clicks and taps, and sign-up events, collected through our analytics provider (see Section 6).

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Store and display your collection data

Send important account-related notifications

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices. Photos are stored in secure cloud storage. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest where applicable.

6. Analytics and Service Providers

Analytics

We use HeyCatch (HeyCatch, Inc., United States) to understand how people use Model Horse Vault. HeyCatch collects the pages you visit, your clicks and taps, form submissions (but not what you type into form fields), sign-up events, session information, and your IP address and device and browser details. When you are signed in, we also share your internal user ID, name, email address, and sign-up date with HeyCatch so your activity is linked to your account.

HeyCatch processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. HeyCatch states that it does not sell personal data. It also states that some of its AI analytics features send analytics data to third-party AI model providers, which are prohibited from training on that data. HeyCatch keeps this data while we use its service and for about two months afterward. You can read its policy at heycatch.ai/privacy.

Other service providers

We use Base44, the platform the app is built on, to host the app and store its data, and Stripe to process subscription payments. These providers process data to provide their services to us. 7. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. Analytics data held by our analytics provider is kept for as long as we use the service and for about two months afterward.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your collection data

To exercise these rights, contact us at support.modelhorsevault@gmail.com. To ask about or delete analytics data linked to you, contact us and we will handle the request with our analytics provider.

9. Children's Privacy

Model Horse Vault is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
